Q&A: Why do people say that Hamas was “democratically elected”?
Question by Justin: Why do people say that Hamas was “democratically elected”?
Do you know any history of “democracies” in 3rd world countries?
The guy with military support wins the election! You act like voter intimidation doesn’t exist.
Hamas’ election was as fair as the Nazis. You threaten dissidents, you win elections.
So the brownshirts beating and killing people in the streets in the early 30′s had nothing to do with Hitler’s rise, eh?
While the intimidation was not overt, it was there. Similar to Kenya, which had “internationally monitored” elections. Terrorists do not give up, they change tactics
BTW, the SA had over 300,000 members in 1932. They were notorious for their street clashes.
